Listen up, Party People!
Here's the game plan for the night: We’ve got food, drinks, dancing, and probably more laughs than anyone should be allowed to have in one evening. Let’s get this party started!
5:00 PM – 5:45 PM: Cocktail Hour + Line Dancing Lessons
Okay, so we’re starting things off with a bang. Forget traditional cocktail hour chit-chat. We’re going full throttle here with LINE DANCING LESSONS. We’ll teach the moves, the DJ will blast the tunes, and everyone will pretend they know what they’re doing. Get ready for a seriously awkward, but highly entertaining hour.
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner Bell
Finally, it’s time for some food! The DJ’s keeping things chill while we eat, chat, and pretend we’re not all secretly eyeing the dessert table. Speeches will happen sometime during dinner, so be prepared for anything.
7:00 PM – Until the End: Dancing (Aka, The Real Party Begins)
Time to burn off all those calories we just consumed! The DJ will cue up some absolute bangers for us to dance to. Be ready to practice the line dances you learned. The late-night snacks will give you the second wind you need to keep the party going!
There are 5 rules for the dance floor:
1. The dance floor should be occupied at all times.
2. Dance offs should take place often.
3. If you look good doing it, you're probably doing it wrong.
4. Putting a tie around one's head is encouraged.
5. Dad dancing welcome.
So put on your dancing shoes, bring your finest dad jokes, and get ready to eat, drink, and dance like nobody's watching.
Cheers,
Rob and Kay
